YOUNG STARSKATER DOES A VERY GROWN UP THING

posted Sep 26, 2015, 9:17 AM

Starskater MacKenzie Cook recently had a birthday and turned 8 years old. She has been skating with YSC for over 4 years now and loves to skate. So she decided she wanted to have a skating party and what she decided next was quite a big thing for a little girl. She decided instead of presents she wanted people to make a donation to the Yarmouth Skating Club. So $165.75 was donated to YSC. MacKenzie also was able to perform her solo for her guests and she did an excellent job!!

YSC Skaters, Coaches and Parents would like to thank MacKenzie for this generous gift!!

And Happy Birthday :)!

Once this account is created we will then be able to go in and add your skaters achievements after the fact. So with this in mind when you are registering your skater for STARSkate programs you may receive a yellow warning from the system. This is just a warning and you can still register for the program. We will back enter test achievements after the fact and these warnings should not happen in the future.

Starskate parents these packages were set by the Director of Programming and were done for the best use of ice time, training time and coaching/lesson time. If these packages do not meet your skaters needs (ie skater only wants to skate 1 day a week or different days from any package options) you must contact Director of Programming Megan Long and have her approval. Any of these special options will not be able to be registered through the online registration system and must be registered in person at the Registration dates which are Oct 1,6 and 8th from 530-7pm at the Mariners Centre
