3 YARMOUTH SKATERS COMPETED AT THE ATLANTIC SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS AND SET PERSONAL BESTS

3 Yarmouth SC Skaters have qualified to compete at Atlantics:
Shayleigh Doucet competed in Juvenile Ladies under 12. She placed 7th with a score of 19.92. She came within .10's of a point to her personal best score and had a great skate
Kylie Landry competed in Gold Ladies. She placed 8th. Had a clean skate, received a personal best score of 31.25 and also received a +2 GOE on her axel
Sharlie Pinksen competed in Pre-Juvenile Ladies under 13. She placed 14th, had a great skate and received a personal best score of 15.26
Congratulations to these amazing young ladies on a great competition weekend!
And a big part of their success is the Coaches!! Thank you to Megan, Lorraine, Natalie and Heidi for having prepared these skaters so they could put their best skates out on the competition ice!!

LAYLA AND SEBASTIEN ARE CANSKATERS OF THE MONTH

Layla LeBlanc and Sebastien d'Entremont have been chosen as Canskaters of the Month.
They have both worked very hard this winter season and have shown lots of improvement.
They have lots of fun on the ice and are very respectful to the other skaters and their coaches.
Congratulations Layla and Sebastien and keep up the hard work!!
HILARY IS PA OF THE MONTH AND EMILY IS SPIRIT SKATER OF THE MONTH

Hilary Stone is our Program Assistant of the Month. Hilary has been volunteering with the Canskate program at YSC for several years and we appreciate her help!!
Emily Cunningham is our Spirit Skater of the Month. Emily skated at STARSkate provincial with the flu. The Coaches were very impressed with her for this.
